The Philips hair clipper HC9450 includes several advanced features that make hair trimming and cutting quicker and simpler.
Please refer to the information below to find out more about this product's memory, setting lock, and other features.
The memory setting on your Philips hair clipper allows you to save 3 lengths for each of the 3 combs provided. The memory automatically detects which comb is inserted, and you can only save length settings that are within the range offered by the comb that you're currently using.
To save a length setting:
The display shows the word ‘SET’ when the length setting is correctly saved. The device will now automatically return to the saved length setting when the same comb is inserted and the same memory slot (1, 2, or 3) is selected.
If your hair clipper's display shows the letters CL, this means that too much hair has collected between the comb and the cutting unit.
Remove the comb and cutting unit and clean them with the cleaning brush supplied.
The length setting lock of your Philips hair clipper prevents the length setting from being changed accidentally while the product is in use.
You can only change the length setting when the device is switched off. If you try to adjust the length while the device is switched on, a padlock symbol will appear on the handle to indicate that the length setting lock is active.
