Philips markets the HDMI-CEC feature under the proprietary name EasyLink. HDMI-CEC is an industry standard supported by many brands, under various proprietary names.

EasyLink uses the HDMI CEC industry standard protocol to share functionality between connected devices and the TV. With EasyLink, only one remote control is needed to operate the main functionalities on your TV and connected devices.

EasyLink uses the standard HDMI cable to transfer system commands. It works between all electronic devices equipped with HDMI CEC.

Follow the steps below to set EasyLink:

1. EasyLink requires devices to be connected to the TV by HDMI.
2. These devices should have the HDMI-CEC functionality. Please refer to the user manual of your devices to determine if they support HDMI-CEC functionality.
3. Switch on EasyLink on the TV, press the [Menu] button on the remote control and select [TV Menu] -> [Installation] -> [Preferences] -> [EasyLink] and select [ON].
4. Switch on HDMI-CEC on the connected device.
5. The HDMI-CEC functionality on devices from other brands might not work with your TV due to different interpretations of the HDMI-CEC industry standard.
