Battery degradation
Battery degradation is the gradual loss of a rechargeable battery’s capacity and performance. Over time, all batteries store less energy, take longer to charge, and may need more frequent recharging. This is normal and expected.
However, follow these simple steps to keep the battery healthier, longer:
- Before using your breast pump for the first time, charge the battery fully.
- Fully charging your device regularly can help prevent the battery from running out at undesirable moments.
- Keep your breast pump in a cool environment. Avoid heat and direct sunlight.
- Always use the original cable and a power adapter that is recommended or supplied by Philips.
