Your Philips Air Purifier, 2in1 Air Purifier and Dehumidifier and 2in1 Air Purifier and Humidifier needs to be reset after each filter replacement or after cleaning the pre-filter. To find out why, read our article below.
Should I reset my Philips Air Purifier or Humidifier after replacing or cleaning a filter?
Resetting after cleaning or replacing the filter
Resetting your Philips Air Purifier is important to activate the counting system for new filters or a cleaned pre-filter. (In some models, the filter surface is part of the pre-filter.)
Your Philips Air Purifier has a filter replacement alert to let you know when it is time to change the filter. Many models also have a filter cleaning alert to remind you to clean the pre-filter.
If your Air Purifier includes humidification, depending on the model, it will warn you when wick descaling or replacing is needed. After performing these tasks, always reset the appliance.
For detailed cleaning and replacement instructions, check the User Manual for your specific model.
