My Philips Heater does not work after I plug it into the socket

Published on 28 August 2024
If your Philips Heater does not work after plugging it into the socket or will not heat up, there might be a simple solution. Find out here how to resolve it.

The plug might not be properly connected

Check whether you connected the power plug properly to a working electrical outlet.

No heated airflow

If your Philips Heater is equipped with the Ventilation mode, check if the Ventilation mode is on when there is no heated airflow. In this mode, the appliance will create an unheated stream of air. If it is in Auto mode, the heating function will not be activated when the set target temperature is lower than the ambient temperature. Please check the temperature setting on your device.

Overheat protection is triggered

Your Philips Heater is equipped with overheat protection. Unplugging the appliance while it is in operation may trigger it. Please wait a few minutes for the appliance to cool down before attempting to power on again.
