Picture is not displayed in 16:9 format while viewing the program through HDMI in Philips TV

Check in the settings menu of the accessory device whether the format is set to 16:9

Check in the settings menu of the TV whether PictureFormat is on AutoFormat

Press the Format button on the remote to change format

The format of some broadcasts cannot be altered and will display only in original format
