MonitorFull HD LCD monitor

A great budget monitor perfect for my needs as a console gamer

Excellent quality monitor and good value for money.

This review is for the 24E 1N 1200A bought from Currys in Newbury UK. The picture is very sharp, and fills the screen after a few seconds of oversize.

LCD Full HD Monitor 27E11100A very good I find myself very well I find the audio inputs and the (non -powerful) speakers useful that must be set on the PC, clear screen in suits its parts that I can set to my liking and secrete my tastes and uses. Great purchase.

The 24" monitor is a good size for my needs on a small desk. The screen is clear and responsive. It doesn't have vertical tilt and the on/off button needs to be held for a few seconds to switch on or off, rather than just pressing and done. These are the only gripes I have and they are relatively minor. Overall a good value for money monitor.

Nice display. All controls are on one button on rear of display which you have to feel for from underneath the screen. Once set up you don’t really need it unless you want to switch monitor off. It automatically goes into standby mode when attached PC is switched off or goes into sleep mode.

The picture is excellent, the sound not so good unless I have set up wrong, but this is a minor consideration for me. Main gripe is that Philips sent an incompatible lead, easy to overcome with a double ended extension just a bit annoying. Otherwise excellent.

The colours are crisp and there is little strain on the eyes. Sound is adequate but could be better for gaming and music.

Monitor is OK. For a major label the joy stick function is awful.. it is definitely the worst part of the Monitor

Although the monitor is fine, when the package was opened there were 2 leads missing ! There is no way to contact Philips effectively regarding this matter. After eventually, managing to speak to a representative I was give 5 different telephone numbers.....all of which did not exist !! Although I live in the UK, I was then advised to ring the Netherlands ! I declined and was then transferred back to the first person I had spoken too ! What an absolute waste of time and money !! Appalling lack of Customer Service.
