In this article, you can find the video and instructions on how to install your Philips Doorbell Chime. The Doorbell Chime can be used with the Philips Wireless Video Doorbell. You can also find detailed instructions in the Quick Start Guide included in the box.
The video and instructions below will help you with the installation of the Wireless Video Doorbell and how you can connect the Doorbell Chime.
Plug the chime into a power outlet.
Go to the “Devices” tab in the Home Safety app.
Tap “settings” for the Doorbell.
Select “Chime Settings”
Tap “Pair Chime”.
Follow the steps in the app.
Check that the chime responds promptly and consistently to the doorbell by ringing the doorbell.
When placing the chime, consider the following:
Check that there are no obstructions or interference between the doorbell and the chime. Signal interference can be caused by materials such as brick or concrete, or household appliances like microwaves.
Check if the chime is still within range by triggering the doorbell from various distances.
