How to download and share videos from my Philips Home Safety Camera
You can share videos recorded from your Philips Home Safety Camera with your family and friends or share them on social media platforms directly using the Philips Home Safety app. Additionally, you can download videos to your phone's camera roll and share them from there.
Open the App: Launch the Philips Home Safety app on your device.
Navigate to Events: Go to the “Events” section in the app.
Select the Desired Event: Tap on the event you want to share or download.
Share the Event: Tap on the share button located at the bottom center of the screen. Wait a few seconds for the video to be prepared. Your phone's sharing menu will appear. Share the video the way you want.
Download the Event: Tap on the download button located at the bottom left of the screen. The video will be downloaded and saved to your phone's camera roll.
Open the App: Launch the Philips Home Safety app on your device.
Navigate to Continuous Recording: Go to the “Continuous Recording” section from the main menu.
Enable Continuous Recording (if not already enabled): Ensure that the Continuous Recording feature is toggled on. You will find the toggle switch at the top of the screen.
Select the Desired Event: Browse through the events listed under “Events in Recording.” Tap on the specific event you wish to download and share.
Access Event Options: Click on the three-dot menu associated with the selected event to reveal more actions.
Download the Event: In the pop-up menu, tap on the “Download Event” button. The event will now be saved to your device.
Share the Event: Tap on the “Share Event” button. A sharing menu will appear, allowing you to choose from various apps to share the video (e.g., email, messaging apps, social media).
Choose the Sharing Method: Select the app through which you want to share the video. Follow the prompts within the chosen app to complete the sharing process.
